David Carson!

"David Carson (born September 8, 1954) is an American graphic designer, art director and surfer. He is best known for his innovative magazine design, and use of experimental typography. He was the art director for the magazine Ray Gun, in which he employed much of the typographic and layout style for which he is known. In particular, his art work is defined in the so-called "grunge typography" era."

I love David Carson's work because it is so different and in a way i think it's risky because of the amount of type he puts onto a page, people may not like it.

I like how he uses so many colours blended with imagery in his work, this really catches your eye and even though you can't figure out what most of the writing says, it makes you look closer into it.

I think this would work well to go around the refectory, some imagery with text on... maybe with facts about the college or the food? Maybe we should make it more read-able though or put it in the shape of my logo.
