I started off by looking at a colour wheel and then making one for myself, however using photoshop i found it quite difficult to get the colours right.
I then moved on to using 2 complimentary colours to create a pattern. I like the use of green and pink because they both really stand out and are eye catching, it works because i made sure that both colours were evenly spaced around the pattern.
I then chose blue and orange which are also complimentary colours, which i think go really nicely together and work well, however i think they look quite dark together.
I then chose 3 analogous and put them into my patten, this is my favourite because the colours all go so well together and look neat.
